Recovery Numbing Cream 30ml

Complete guide: Recovery Numbing Cream 30ml

A 30 ml topical anesthetic cream, designed to reduce client discomfort during tattooing, piercing, and PMU procedures, as well as other minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. It contains 4% lidocaine HCl and contains no epinephrine, so it doesn't alter the skin's texture — you can continue working normally after application. According to the manufacturer, the effect sets in fully in about 15 minutes and can last up to 6 hours, with a cooling sensation that soothes the skin. It is useful both for artists who want to offer more comfortable sessions and for clients sensitive to pain.

How to use

1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the skin area you are going to work on, then dry it completely.
2. Perform a patch test on a small area of skin well in advance of the procedure to check that no adverse reaction occurs.
3. With gloved hands, apply an even layer of cream to the work area, without touching the tip of the tube to the skin.
4. Wait for the effect to set in — according to the manufacturer, maximum effect is achieved in approximately 15 minutes.
5. Remove the cream completely and disinfect the area according to your usual protocol before starting work.
6. If the session is long, the cream can also be used during the procedure, according to the manufacturer's instructions — apply to areas not yet worked on or following your own protocol.
7. After the procedure, it can be used to soothe the area, having an action that reduces the skin's inflammatory response.
8. Close the cap tightly after each use — the tube has a child-resistant cap and tamper-evident seal, check the seal upon first opening.

Tips from us

• Plan the application timing: include the ~15 minutes for the effect to set in in your session schedule, so you don't work on an area that is still not numb.
• The formula is non-greasy, but it's still worth wiping the area completely before the stencil — any cream residue can affect the adhesion of the transfer.
• Dispense the cream from the tube onto a disposable surface (spatula, clean holder) instead of applying directly from the tube on different clients — this prevents cross-contamination.
• Being epinephrine-free, it does not alter the skin's texture, so you can properly assess the skin during work — an advantage for fine lines and PMU.
• Communicate constantly with the client: the anesthetic effect varies from person to person, and their feedback helps you adapt the pace of the session.
• Keep the tube closed, out of reach of children, even though it has a child-resistant cap.
