Guide & full description

Complete guide: Vitamins A & D Ointment 450gr

This is the large, professional format of the aftercare ointment with vitamins A and D, designed for high-volume tattoo studios. The formula is based on white petrolatum with vitamins A and D and contains lanolin, forming a protective layer that lubricates and isolates freshly tattooed skin during the healing period. It is frequently used both during and after the session, and for piercings it can serve as a needle lubricant. For external use only.

How to use

Gently clean the tattoo with water and a neutral soap, then pat the area dry.
Do not insert your fingers into the jar: remove the cream with a sterile or disposable spatula.
Portion the necessary amount into a clean, individual container for each client — never serve directly from the main jar.
Apply a thin, even layer over the entire tattooed surface; a thick layer does not help healing and can suffocate the skin.
Remove any excess with a clean tissue if there is leftover.
Close the jar tightly immediately after use to avoid contamination and drying of the product.
Repeat application according to the aftercare protocol you recommend to the client.
As it is for external use only, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Tips from us

Always work hygienically: sterile spatula and separate portion for each client, the main jar remains uncontaminated.
Thin layer, not abundant — the goal is a protective barrier, not a thick layer of product.
Keep in mind that the formula contains lanolin; ask the client if they have a sensitivity to wool before application.
Store the jar closed, at room temperature, away from moisture and contamination between sessions.
The large format is only advantageous with regular consumption; for occasional use, a small format avoids the product expiring once opened.
Label portioned containers with simple instructions so the client knows how to use them at home.

Warning: Freshly tattooed skin is essentially a wound, so hygiene is essential: use a sterile spatula and an individual portion per client, do not touch the product with your fingers, and do not reintroduce surplus into the jar. The product is for external use only. The formula contains lanolin, a possible allergen for people sensitive to wool — test on a small area if needed. It is not a medical treatment and does not replace specialist advice; if severe redness, persistent itching, or other reactions occur, stop application and recommend medical consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Does this ointment contain lanolin?▾

Yes, according to the listed ingredients, the formula is based on white petrolatum with vitamins A and D and contains lanolin. That's why it's good to ask the client if they have a sensitivity to wool before using it on tattooed skin.

How do I remove the cream from the jar without contaminating it?▾

Do not use your fingers directly in the jar. Take the product with a sterile stainless steel or disposable spatula and transfer the needed portion into a clean container for each client. Close the jar immediately after use. This prevents bacteria transfer into the main product mass.

Which format should I choose, the 450g or a smaller one?▾

The large format is designed for studios with a constant workload, where the product is consumed quickly and stays fresh. If you use it occasionally, a smaller format is more suitable, so you don't keep a large jar open for a long time. The formula with vitamins A and D remains the same, regardless of size.

Can it also be used for piercings?▾

Yes, the description mentions its use as a needle lubricant for piercings, in addition to its role in protecting tattooed skin. In all cases, application is exclusively external.

Should I apply a thicker layer to heal faster?▾

No. A thin, even layer is enough to protect and lubricate the area. Excess product does not speed up healing and can prevent the skin from breathing; wipe off any leftover if there is any.

How do I store the jar between sessions?▾

Keep it closed, at room temperature, away from moisture and direct heat sources. Do not leave it open on the work table during the session and periodically clean the jar's edges to prevent dried product buildup.
