Guide & full description

Complete guide: INK EEZE Purple Glide 150ml

Purple Glide by Ink Eeze is a petroleum-free tattoo glide ointment infused with essential oils, designed to work in two stages: as a lubricant on the skin during the session and as a care layer after the tattoo is finished. The formula was developed together with tattoo artists and skin care specialists, so it addresses both the artist who wants a clean needle glide and the client who needs a product to maintain the skin during the healing period. It is a consumable, so it is used in small amounts — a little goes a long way.

How to use

  1. Always work with washed hands and gloves, and ensure the tattooed skin is pre-cleaned and disinfected.
  2. As an artist during tattooing: take a small amount and spread a thin layer on the working area as a lubricant to help the needle glide and wipe away excess ink.
  3. Reapply during the session only as needed, without overloading the skin.
  4. For aftercare: after the tattoo has been gently washed and patted dry, apply a very thin layer to the healed area.
  5. Repeat application during the healing period several times a day, adjusting the frequency to the tattoo size (more often for large areas, less for small ones).
  6. Clean the tattoo before each new application to avoid trapping impurities under the layer.
  7. Close the lid after use and store the container in a cool, dry place.

Tips from us

  • A little goes a long way: a thick layer doesn't speed anything up, but reduces air circulation to the skin — aim for thin layers.
  • Keep a clean 'working' container and avoid touching the product with ungloved fingers to prevent contamination.
  • The frequency of application during healing should be adjusted based on the tattoo size, not a fixed schedule.
  • Since the formula contains essential oils, propolis, and royal jelly, if you have sensitive skin or known allergies, test on a small area first.
  • Keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with eyes.
Warning: For external use on skin only. Keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with eyes; in case of accidental contact, rinse with cold water. The formula contains essential oils, propolis, royal jelly, and a cosmetic colorant (D&C Violet No. 2), which may be allergens for sensitive individuals — therefore, a patch test on a small area is recommended before first use. Maintain hygiene during application (clean hands, gloves, clean tattoo) and do not over-apply to avoid blocking air circulation. This guide does not replace medical advice: if signs of persistent irritation or infection occur, discontinue use and consult a specialist.

Frequently asked questions

Is it used only during tattooing or also after?

Both. Purple Glide is designed for dual use: as a lubricant (glide) on the skin during the tattooing process, for a cleaner needle glide and wiping away excess ink, and as an aftercare product, applied in thin layers during the healing period.

Does it contain Vaseline or petroleum derivatives?

No. The formula is declared petroleum-free and is infused with essential oils. Listed ingredients include safflower oil, white beeswax, tamanu oil, lavender oil, propolis, and royal jelly.

Why is it purple?

The shade comes from a cosmetic colorant in the formula (D&C Violet No. 2), which is why it is called 'Purple Glide'. The color is part of the product's appearance and does not change how it is used.

How often should I apply it during the healing period?

The frequency adapts to the size of the tattoo: for large areas, several times a day; for small tattoos, once or twice is usually enough. Use a small amount each time on pre-cleaned skin and avoid over-application.

How do I store it and avoid contamination?

Keep it in a cool, dry place with the lid closed. For hygiene, take the product with clean gloves or a spatula, not directly with ungloved fingers, and clean the tattoo before each application to avoid introducing impurities under the layer.

Is it suitable if I have sensitive skin?

The formula contains essential oils, propolis, royal jelly, and a cosmetic colorant, ingredients that can be allergens for some people. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, test on a small area first and monitor the reaction before using it on the entire tattoo.
