Guide & full description

Complete guide: Corrugated cardboard box 10L with plastic bag – resistant, packing group II/III

This is a 20-liter yellow corrugated cardboard box, delivered together with a plastic bag marked with the international 'Biohazard' symbol, intended for collecting soft biological waste from the tattoo studio — contaminated gloves, compresses, disposable fields and barriers. The 20 L capacity makes it suitable for studios with sustained activity (2+ artists or high volume of work), where the 10 L format would fill up too quickly. It is a single-use consumable: once sealed, the box is handed over to an authorized hazardous waste collection company.

How to use

  1. Assemble the cardboard box by following the folds, with the bottom securely fastened — final dimensions are 28 × 21 × 36 cm.
  2. Insert the included bag (70 × 50 cm) inside and fold the edges over the box opening, so that waste does not touch the cardboard.
  3. Place the box in the work area, on a stand or shelf (not directly on a wet floor), away from client access.
  4. Collect only soft biological waste: contaminated gloves, compresses with blood and ink, protective films and covers, disposable sheets. Needles, cartridges, and blades are NOT disposed of here — they go into the rigid sharps container.
  5. Do not stuff or compress waste into the bag and respect the maximum allowed weight of 2.5 kg — wet waste weighs more than it seems.
  6. When the bag is full, tie it while wearing gloves, without compressing it.
  7. Close and seal the box, then fill in the markings or data required by the collection company (if applicable).
  8. Hand over the sealed box to the authorized hazardous waste collection company, according to the studio's contractual schedule.

Tips from us

  • Change the bag before it is completely full — the 2.5 kg limit is quickly reached with wet waste, and an overloaded bag is difficult to tie safely.
  • Keep the box raised off the floor, ideally on a stand; the cardboard withstands normal use well (burst strength 540 kPa), but external moisture weakens its structure.
  • Check the available space before placement: 28 × 21 × 36 cm takes up noticeably more space than the 10 L format.
  • For a studio with a single artist, the 10 L format may be sufficient; choose 20 L if 2 or more artists work daily or if the collection company comes less frequently.
  • As it is a recurring consumable, order multiple boxes at once so you don't run out of containers between collections.
  • Never reuse the box or bag after sealing — they are strictly single-use.
Warning: This is a box for hazardous waste, not a regular trash bin. Always wear gloves when handling the bag or the full box, never put your hand inside the bag, and do not compress the contents. Sharp objects (needles, cartridges, blades) have no place in the bag — they can puncture the plastic and cardboard and expose staff to needlestick risk; use a dedicated rigid container for them. The full box is transported vertically, sealed, and handed over exclusively to an authorized hazardous waste collection company — do not throw it in household trash. Check with your collection company for the exact marking and handover requirements applicable in Romania.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I receive in the package?

The package contains the 20-liter corrugated cardboard box (28 × 21 × 36 cm, yellow color, 3-layer cardboard with a mass of 384 g/m²) and the included plastic bag, with dimensions 70 × 50 cm and thickness 0.005 mm, marked Biohazard. Mount the bag in the box and you can start collecting immediately.

What waste can I put in this box and what not?

Put only soft biological waste generated during tattooing: contaminated gloves, compresses with blood and ink, used protective films and barriers, disposable fields and sheets. Do not put needles, cartridges, blades or any sharp-cutting objects — these are collected separately, in a rigid sharps container, precisely because they can puncture the bag and cardboard.

When do I choose the 20 L box instead of the 10 L one?

The 20 L format makes sense if 2 or more artists work daily in the studio, if the collection company comes less frequently (e.g., every two weeks), or if you simply prefer to change the box less often. Advantages: fewer boxes consumed per year and simplified logistics. Disadvantages: takes up more space and is harder to maneuver when full. A studio with a single artist usually manages with the 10 L format.

Does the box resist wet waste? How do I maintain it until handover?

The inner bag keeps liquids away from the cardboard, and the box has good structural strength (burst 540 kPa, compression 5.6 kN/m). The weak point of any cardboard box is external moisture: do not place it directly on a wet floor and do not store it in areas at risk of splashing. Keep it on a stand, in the dedicated waste area, respect the 2.5 kg limit, and seal the bag with gloves when full.

Can I use the box in other types of clinics, not just in a tattoo studio?

Yes. It is a universal container for biological waste, used equally in micropigmentation and cosmetic salons, dental offices, or other units that generate contaminated waste. The collection and handover rules to an authorized company are the same regardless of the field.

What do I do with the box after it is full?

Tie the bag without pressing it, seal the box and transport it vertically, with care. The sealed box is handed over to the authorized hazardous waste collection company with which the studio has a contract — it is a mandatory step for any unit that generates biological waste. Do not throw it in household trash and do not reuse it.

Product description

The 324 B/B corrugated cardboard box is a practical and resistant solution for packaging and transport. It has dimensions of 28 x 21 x 36 cm and a capacity of 20 liters, made from corrugated cardboard with 3 layers and a weight of 384 g/m². Color: yellow Bursting strength: 540 k Pa Edge crush resistance: 5.6 k N/m Maximum allowed weight: 2.5 kg Packing group: II or III Plastic bag included: 70 x 50 cm x 0.005 mm This cardboard box is recommended for safe storage, transport, and packaging, meeting strength and durability requirements for multiple uses. 20-liter box with Biohazard bag for biological waste, the large-capacity solution for professional tattoo studios with intensive activity and high contaminated waste volume. Manufactured from double-layer corrugated cardboard for superior structural resistance, with a high-strength interior plastic bag marked with the international Biohazard symbol. The 20L capacity is double the 10L model, covering the needs of studios with 2-4 active artists or bi-weekly collection frequency. Collects all biological waste generated in tattooing: contaminated gloves, disposable aprons and sleeves, blood and ink-soaked gauze, disposable drapes, protective covers, and any other contaminated material. Needles and blades are stored separately in the sharps container. Interior bag prevents leaks and contains odors. The double-layer corrugated cardboard box supports the weight of wet waste without structural failure — important because tattoo biological waste contains liquids (blood, ink, cleaning solutions). The Biohazard symbol visible on both box sides and on the bag ensures immediate identification of hazardous contents. Full compliance with Romanian and European legislation on hazardous waste management. The studio must hand over the sealed box to the authorized collection company per contractual schedule. Investment in the 20L capacity reduces box change frequency and simplifies waste logistics. The double-layer corrugated cardboard is treated for moisture resistance, maintaining structural integrity throughout the use period. The high-strength interior bag prevents leaks and effectively contains odors. Complete traceability through lot numbering on both box and bag ensures compliance documentation for DSP inspections.
