Roll of transparent polyethylene stretch film, self-adhesive, used for hygienic protection of studio surfaces and equipment: work trays, lamp arms, machine grips, seat covers. Being completely transparent, it leaves the power supply displays, machine settings, and ink level in bottles visible without having to remove the protection. The 30 cm wide x 20 m long format is compact — ideal as a backup roll, for convention kits or guest spots. It is intended for tattoo artists, PMU technicians, and cosmeticians.
How to use
- First, clean and disinfect the surfaces and equipment you are going to protect — the film is always applied over an already sanitized station, before each client.
- With clean hands or gloves, unroll a suitable length of film and tear or cut it from the roll.
- Wrap the equipment or cover the surface with a slight stretch: the film adheres to itself through the natural self-adhesion of polyethylene, without additional adhesive tape.
- On wide surfaces (work tray, seat), overlap the edges of the strips for continuous coverage without uncovered areas.
- Check that you do not block buttons or controls and that the digital displays remain readable through the film.
- Work normally during the session; the film forms a barrier against dirt, dust, and moisture.
- At the end of the session, with gloves, completely remove all used film and discard it — it is strictly single-use.
- Disinfect the underlying surfaces again and apply new film only before the next client.

- Choose the 30 cm width if you also protect large surfaces (30–40 cm trays, seats, thicker lamp arms) — you cover with fewer passes and fewer overlaps; for grips and cables, a narrower film is sufficient.

- If you want a cleaner look towards the client, you can combine: black film on visible equipment and transparent film where you need to see indicators.
Frequently asked questions
Can I wrap a fresh tattoo with this film?▾
It is not recommended. Studio stretch film is not sterile, it is not tested for contact with wounds, and it does not have the semi-permeability of medical films, so applied on a fresh tattoo it presents a risk of irritation and infection. For fresh tattoos, use dedicated medical films such as Suprasorb F, Saniderm, or Dermalize Pro. The role of this film is to protect equipment and work surfaces.
What should I choose: the 30 cm width or the 25 cm width?▾
It depends on what you are protecting. The 30 cm width covers large surfaces with fewer passes: a standard work tray (30–40 cm) is covered with a single strip plus overlap, and the seat and thick lamp arms are wrapped more efficiently. If you are predominantly protecting small equipment — grips, cables — the 25 cm film is sufficient. If you also protect large surfaces, 30 cm saves time and reduces total consumption.
Is the 20 m roll enough for an active studio?▾
As a main roll, not for the long term: 20 m covers approximately 8–12 complete sessions, with an average consumption of 1.5–2.5 m per session, so in a studio with 3–4 sessions per day the roll lasts 2–4 days. The 20 m format is designed more as a portable roll for conventions and guest spots or as backup stock. For daily use in the studio, the 30 cm x 200 m roll offers a lower cost per meter and several weeks of autonomy.
Is the transparent film as resistant as the black one?▾
Yes. Both are made from the same base material, polyethylene, and have identical mechanical properties: tensile strength, self-adhesion, and flexibility. The difference is exclusively aesthetic — the black film hides stains, the transparent one shows them, but in return it allows you to read the power supply displays and see the ink level without removing the protection. Many artists use both, depending on what they are covering.
How does the film adhere without adhesive? Does it leave marks when peeled off?▾
It adheres to itself through the natural self-adhesion property of stretched polyethylene — it contains no adhesive, so it leaves no residue when removed. It easily conforms to irregular shapes (grips, cables, lamp arms) and can be stretched considerably without tearing. It is enough to overlap the end of the strip over the already applied film for the wrap to secure.
How do I store the roll and does it have an expiration date?▾
Store at room temperature, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight — UV radiation degrades polyethylene over time and makes it brittle — and away from strong heat sources, where the film can deform. Stored correctly, the roll has no practical expiration limit, as polyethylene is chemically stable. Keep it in a box or drawer to prevent dust accumulation and periodically check the integrity of the film before use.
