Guide & full description

Complete guide: Strech transparent foil 30cm*200m

This roll of transparent stretch film, 30 cm wide and 200 meters long, is the industrial format for hygienic protection of equipment and work surfaces in tattoo and micropigmentation studios. It is not applied to the skin — it is a non-sterile consumable intended exclusively for temporary covering of trays, cables, lamp arms, stands, and chair sections, as a physical barrier between client and equipment. Being self-adhesive (sticks to itself without additional tape) and transparent, it allows viewing of digital indicators on power supplies without needing to remove the protection. With 200 m per roll, it is the right choice for studios with constant activity, where small 20 m formats would mean frequent orders and a higher cost per meter.

How to use

Mount the roll on an axle or holder (wall or bench-mounted) so it can be unwound with one hand.
Cut a piece of film to the size needed for the object you are protecting.
Wrap the film tightly around the surface (grip, cable, lamp arm, tray, stand, chair section) — the film adheres to itself without needing adhesive tape.
On functional equipment, verify that digital voltage/power indicators remain visible through the transparent film.
Cover all possible contact points of the work area before starting the session.
At the end of the session, remove and completely discard the used film.
Apply new film for each client on all previously covered surfaces.
Cut the roll with an integrated blade in the holder, if available, for a faster setup between clients.

Tips from us

Mount a wall bracket with a metal axle at waist height in the prep area — allows one-handed unwinding and cutting of the film.
Store the roll at room temperature, away from direct sunlight; prolonged UV exposure can make it brittle.
Monitor actual consumption in the first month of use to accurately estimate your studio's reorder rhythm.
For a studio with 2-3 artists and 3-4 daily sessions each, a 200 m roll covers, on average, 3-6 weeks.
If you want a more aesthetic look for equipment visible to the client, consider also the black film option (available in 25 cm x 78 m format) to complement the large transparent roll.
Periodically check the remaining film on the roll: if it tears easily when stretched or no longer adheres to itself, it is a sign of degradation and must be replaced.

Warning: This product is non-sterile and is intended exclusively for the protection of equipment and work surfaces — do not apply to skin or the tattooed/freshly tattooed area. The film must be completely removed and discarded after each client, and the covered surfaces must be re-protected with clean film before the next session. The film does not replace equipment disinfection; it is used as a disposable physical barrier over already cleaned/disinfected surfaces, according to the studio's hygiene protocol.

Frequently asked questions

Can the film be reused or must it be changed for each client?▾

The film is completely removed after each client and a new one is applied before the next session. It is a non-sterile product intended exclusively for equipment protection, not a reusable single-use barrier — reusing it defeats the purpose of hygienic protection between clients.

Why should I choose the 200 m roll instead of several small 20 m rolls?▾

The cost per meter is 40-60% lower compared to small 20 m rolls, which means significant savings for a studio with constant consumption. Additionally, the large roll reduces order frequency and the risk of running out of film in the middle of a workday. The downside: the 200 m roll is too bulky for a portable convention kit, where a small roll remains more practical.

How many sessions does a 200 m roll practically cover?▾

Depending on how extensive the applied protection is, one roll covers approximately 80-130 complete tattoo sessions: about 130 sessions if you only protect the grip and cable, around 100 if you cover the entire equipment, and about 80 if you also protect additional surfaces such as the chair. The total surface area of the roll is approximately 60,000 cm².

How do I mount and store such a large roll?▾

The roll weighs approximately 1-1.5 kg and has a diameter of about 15-18 cm. The most practical option is a wall mount with a metal axle, which allows one-handed unwinding; alternatively, it can sit on the prep bench in a V-stand or in the drawer of a mobile tray.

Is it the same quality as the small 20 m rolls?▾

Yes — the material is professional-grade polyethylene, 15-23 microns thick with elongation at break over 200%, identical across formats. The only real difference is the quantity per roll and, consequently, the price per meter, favoring the large roll.

How long does the roll last in storage, does the film expire?▾

Polyethylene does not have a traditional expiration date. Stored properly at room temperature and away from sunlight, the film retains its properties for approximately 2-3 years. If you notice it tears easily when stretched or no longer adheres well to itself, it is a sign of degradation and must be replaced.

Product description

Stretch transparent foil 30cm*200m Stretch film 30cmx300m PE bag 1 roll is intended for manual use and is easy to use. It is used in beauty salons and tattoo parlors. It is used in procedures to combat localized fat deposits and cellulite. Stretch foil has a high degree of adhesion on the inside, it is extensible and very flexible. Transparent stretch film 30cm x 200m is the industrial studio format for hygienic protection of equipment and work surfaces in tattoo and micropigmentation salons. With 200 linear meters at 30cm width, this roll covers a total surface area of 60,000 cm² — enough for approximately 80-130 complete tattoo sessions, representing the most economical protection film option available. Cost per meter is 40-60% lower compared to small 20m rolls, making this the smart investment for any studio with regular activity. The transparent film allows visualization of power supply digital indicators, voltage settings, and ink levels without needing to unwrap the protection. The 30cm width efficiently covers large surfaces: work trays, lamp arms, stands, chair sections, and preparation benches. Professional-grade polyethylene offers excellent self-adhesion (adheres to itself without glue), stretch resistance up to 200%, and flexibility to conform to irregular shapes. Removes cleanly without residue and is completely eliminated between clients per hygiene protocols. A studio with 2-3 artists, each doing 3-4 daily sessions, will consume this roll in 3-6 weeks. A one-time investment with major impact on monthly consumable costs. Non-sterile product, intended exclusively for equipment protection. Frequently Asked Questions
