Guide & full description

Complete guide: UNIGLOVES Disposable Razor Blade

This disposable razor from Unigloves is a consumable for preparing the client's skin before tattooing. It features a single stainless steel blade, a protective cap, and a black plastic body, sold individually per piece. It is useful for artists who want to top up their stock with a few units, as well as for guest spots, conventions, or travel kits where you don't need a full box.

How to use

Put on clean gloves and use a new razor, straight from the packaging, for each client.
Apply shaving gel or medical green soap to the area to be shaved to soften the hair and reduce friction.
Remove the protective cap and shave in the direction of hair growth with short strokes and light pressure.
Do not shave against the grain — it causes irritation and ingrown hairs.
Wipe away any remaining hair and excess gel with a clean towel, then disinfect the area with an antiseptic solution.
Allow the skin to dry before applying transfer solution and stencil.
After use, immediately dispose of the razor in a sharps container — do not reuse or keep it.

Tips from us

One razor = one client. Even if it looks unused, never reuse it on another person.
Keep the protective cap on until the moment of shaving to avoid accidental cuts and blade contamination.
Shave only the strictly necessary area around the design to avoid irritating healthy skin.
Combine it with green soap or shaving gel — a lubricated surface gives a cleaner and more comfortable shave.
The individual piece format is ideal for a travel kit: it takes up little space and each unit comes separately packaged.
Keep a few spare units in your kit for moments when you need to redo the preparation.

Warning: Disposable product: use only once, for a single client, and discard immediately after use in a sharps container, in accordance with hazardous waste management regulations. Blades are not sterilized or reused between clients. Be careful with the sharp edge both when removing the cap and when handling after use to avoid cuts and blood exposure.

Frequently asked questions

Can the blade be reused on multiple clients?▾

No. It is a single-use product, designed for one client and one use. Reusing it, even on the same client at a later session, risks cross-contamination and a less clean shave because the edge dulls. After you finish, discard the razor in the sharps container.

How do I properly dispose of the razor after use?▾

Dispose of it immediately, whole, in a sharps container. Do not put it in regular household trash and do not attempt to disassemble the blade. This is the standard procedure for hazardous waste in a tattoo studio and protects you and those who handle the waste.

What is the difference compared to the box of 100 pieces?▾

The product is the same, only the sales format differs: here you buy it individually, not in a box. The individual option is useful when you want to test the product, need a few units for an event, or top up an existing stock. If you use it regularly, the large box is usually more cost-effective per unit.

Why is it necessary to shave the area before tattooing?▾

Hair in the work area causes several issues: it covers the stencil's visibility, snags on needles, prevents uniform needle contact with the skin, and can trap impurities. A clean shave with a fresh blade gives you a smooth surface where the stencil adheres better and you work more precisely.

In which direction should I shave and how should I prepare the skin?▾

First apply shaving gel or medical green soap, then shave in the direction of hair growth with short strokes and light pressure. Shaving against the grain irritates the skin and can cause ingrown hairs. Finally, clean and disinfect the area before applying the stencil.

Is it suitable for conventions and travel?▾

Yes. Being individually packaged and sold per piece, it is easy to put in a travel kit and does not force you to carry a whole box. Each separately packaged unit also helps demonstrate hygiene at booths where sanitary conditions are checked.

Product description

Unigloves disposable razor The price is per piece The shaver has a single stainless steel blade and a protective cover. Material: plastic Color: black UNIGLOVES disposable razor blade sold individually for maximum flexibility in managing your tattoo studio consumable stock. The same premium quality as the 100-piece box — medical-grade stainless steel with an industrially sharpened double edge, individual sterile packaging guaranteeing protection against contamination. The individual format is ideal for independent artists, guest spots, tattoo conventions, or for topping up existing stock without purchasing a full box. The double edge allows use of both blade sides, providing two fresh cutting surfaces per unit. The 0.1mm thickness ensures optimal flexibility to follow the client's natural body contours in complex areas such as ribs, shoulder blades, and joints. Professional shaving before tattooing is not merely cosmetic — hair in the work area interferes with uniform needle penetration and can be pulled into the skin by cartridge needles, causing inflammation and affecting healing quality. A superior-quality blade makes the difference between comfortable preparation and one that irritates the client's skin before the tattoo even begins. Unigloves, a German brand with a strong heritage in medical and protective consumables, manufactures these blades according to European EN standards with CE certification and complete traceability through lot numbers. Universal compatibility with all professional safety razors used in tattooing, medicine, and cosmetology. Post-use disposal must be exclusively in a sharps container, according to health authority regulations for biological waste. The individual option is perfect for testing Unigloves quality before ordering in bulk quantity. Frequently Asked Questions
