These are disposable polyethylene protective sleeves that cover the arm from the wrist to above the elbow, complementing the barrier created by gloves and aprons against ink splashes and biological fluids. The pack of 100 pieces (50 pairs) is the economical format, designed for artists who work constantly and for studios with multiple artists, where the consumption of protective barriers is daily. The material is waterproof, elastic, and latex-free, and the blue color fits standard studio equipment.
How to use
- Wash and disinfect your hands before putting them on, as with any protective barrier in the studio.
- Take two sleeves out of the pack — they are identical, there is no left or right model, so any two form a pair.
- Slide each sleeve onto your arm so that the lower elastic sits on your wrist and the upper one sits above your elbow, with the forearm completely covered.
- Check the fit: the elastics must hold the sleeve steady on your arm without compressing or leaving skin exposed.
- Put on your examination gloves over the lower edge of the sleeve, so no skin is left uncovered at the wrist.
- If a sleeve tears or gets punctured during the session, replace it with a new one after sanitizing your hands.
- At the end of the session, remove the sleeves by rolling them from the elbow toward the wrist, with the outer (contaminated) side inward, and discard them along with the rest of the disposable barriers.
