Complete guide: Pansament Unistar Skin Care Soaker pt tatuaj 10 buc

This is a set of 10 absorbent pads, 25 x 35 cm, specially designed for the first hours of healing a fresh tattoo. They absorb exudate, plasma, blood, and excess ink that the skin naturally releases after the session, while also protecting clothes and bed linens. The contact layer does not stick to the tattoo, so removal does not traumatize the sensitive area. It is useful both for artists, as an aftercare dressing applied to the client at the end of the session, and for freshly tattooed individuals who want a clean, worry-free first night.

How to use

  1. Wash your hands or put on clean gloves before any contact with the fresh tattoo.
  2. Gently clean the tattoo according to the usual protocol and pat the skin dry — the adhesive adheres properly only to clean, dry skin.
  3. Remove the pad from its individual sterile packaging only at the moment of application, not beforehand.
  4. Place the non-stick contact layer directly over the tattoo, ensuring the entire tattooed area is covered.
  5. Press the adhesive on the edges onto the healthy skin around the tattoo, smoothing out any wrinkles for a good seal.
  6. Wear the dressing for 4-8 hours, as it absorbs the initial fluid flow; do not exceed 12 hours.
  7. Remove it gently, wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a mild soap, then pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  8. Continue with the aftercare protocol recommended by your artist; if the area continues to secrete fluids, apply a new pad — never a used one.

Tips from us

  • For large tattoos (sleeve, back, ribs), overlap multiple pads with a 1-2 cm common edge, without leaving any tattoo areas uncovered between them.
  • The 25 x 35 cm size usually covers a small to medium tattoo in one piece — plan how many pads you need before the session.
  • It is a practical choice for the first night after tattooing: it absorbs fluids that would otherwise stain bed linens.
  • Keep the pads in their sealed individual packaging, in a clean, dry place until use — once the packaging is opened, the product is no longer sterile.
  • If you work in a studio with a high volume of clients, the product is also available in an economical pack of 100 pieces.
Warning: The product is for single use only: never reuse a pad, even if it looks clean. Apply it only with washed hands or gloves, on clean skin, and do not wear it for more than 12 hours — prolonged accumulation of fluids can promote bacterial growth. Do not apply the dressing over irritated skin or signs of infection. If you notice spreading redness, increased pain, pus, or fever, discontinue use and consult a doctor. This product supports healing hygiene but does not replace medical advice.

Frequently asked questions

How long should I wear the dressing on the fresh tattoo?

The recommendation is 4-8 hours — enough to absorb the initial flow of exudate, plasma, and excess ink from the first hours after the session. Do not exceed 12 hours of wear: even though the pad has high absorbency, prolonged retention of a soaked dressing creates a favorable environment for bacteria. After removal, gently wash the tattoo and proceed with the usual aftercare protocol.

Does it stick to the tattoo when I remove it?

No — the layer that comes into contact with the skin is non-stick, meaning it does not adhere to the ink or fresh scabs. Only the adhesive edges stick, and those on the healthy skin around the tattoo. Therefore, removal does not pull anything from the tattooed area and does not irritate the sensitized skin, unlike a regular compress that can dry stuck to the wound.

What is the difference compared to the transparent 'second skin' film?

These are two different aftercare approaches. This is a classic absorbent dressing: you wear it for 4-8 hours, remove it, then continue with traditional care (gentle washing and the cream recommended by your artist). The transparent 'second skin' film, on the other hand, is worn for several days and replaces part of the classic care. The absorbent pad is the familiar and affordable solution for the first critical hours; the film is a validated alternative, but more expensive and more demanding to apply. Both are used professionally.

Is it sterile? Can I reuse a pad if it looks clean?

Each pad is individually sterile packaged, and the product has CE conformity. That is precisely why it is never reused: once applied to a fresh tattoo — which is essentially an open wound — the pad has absorbed fluids and is no longer sterile. Always use a new pad, taken out of its packaging immediately before application, and discard the old one after removal.

Is one pad enough for a large tattoo, for example a sleeve?

One pad is 25 x 35 cm, so it comfortably covers a small to medium tattoo. For large pieces — sleeve, back, ribs — overlap multiple pads with a 1-2 cm common edge, checking that each adheres well and that no tattoo areas remain uncovered. For a full sleeve, plan for several pieces from the pack, and if you frequently work on large surfaces, the 100-piece option is more economical.

Can I shower with the dressing on?

It is not designed for showering or direct wetting. Although the outer part protects the tattoo from external dirt, an absorbent dressing soaked with water loses its purpose and keeps moisture on the wound. The safest is to shower after removing it: take off the pad, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild soap, pat dry, and continue with the care recommended by your artist.

Product description

Skin Care Soaker Pads are breathable pads used in the tattoo healing process, which absorb all fluids secreted by the skin during healing. They protect both the tattoo and, for example, bed linen or clothes from dirt. Thanks to them, your skin remains clean, the wound is additionally protected and an ideal environment is created for proper healing. The pads do not stick to the skin, which makes them easy to replace and do not irritate the sensitive area after tattooing. Pad size: 25 x 35 cm 10 pieces per pack. Unistar Skin Care Soaker bandage in the 10-piece pack is the super-absorbent specialty dressing designed by Unistar — a recognized European brand in the tattoo consumables industry — specifically for the unique healing needs of fresh tattoos. The 'Soaker' name reflects this bandage's extraordinary absorption capacity, significantly superior to generic dressings. The multi-layer absorbent core captures large volumes of exudate, excess ink, plasma, and blood that naturally release in the first hours after tattooing, preventing fluid accumulation under the bandage that could macerate the skin and compromise healing quality. The Unistar design includes a non-adherent skin contact layer that does not stick to the fresh tattoo, eliminating trauma risk upon removal. The outer layer is impermeable to contaminants yet breathable, maintaining an optimal microclimate for healing initiation. The medical-grade perimeter adhesive securely adheres to healthy skin surrounding the tattoo without causing irritation. Unistar Skin Care Soaker is used in premium studios across Europe as the standard aftercare dressing, replacing the traditional method with cling film or compress and adhesive tape. The result: clients experience less discomfort, the tattoo is not suffocated by stagnant fluids, and healing is cleaner from day one. Individual sterile packaging, CE compliant. Also available in the 100-piece economic pack for high-volume studios. Frequently Asked Questions
