No — the layer that comes into contact with the skin is non-stick, meaning it does not adhere to the ink or fresh scabs. Only the adhesive edges stick, and those on the healthy skin around the tattoo. Is it sterile? Can I reuse a pad if it looks clean?▾
Each pad is individually sterile packaged, and the product has CE conformity. That is precisely why it is never reused: once applied to a fresh tattoo — which is essentially an open wound — the pad has absorbed fluids and is no longer sterile. Always use a new pad, taken out of its packaging immediately before application, and discard the old one after removal.
Is one pad enough for a large tattoo, for example a sleeve?▾
One pad is 25 x 35 cm, so it comfortably covers a small to medium tattoo. For large pieces — sleeve, back, ribs — overlap multiple pads with a 1-2 cm common edge, checking that each adheres well and that no tattoo areas remain uncovered. For a full sleeve, plan for several pieces from the pack, and if you frequently work on large surfaces, the 100-piece option is more economical.
Can I shower with the dressing on?▾
It is not designed for showering or direct wetting. Although the outer part protects the tattoo from external dirt, an absorbent dressing soaked with water loses its purpose and keeps moisture on the wound. The safest is to shower after removing it: take off the pad, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild soap, pat dry, and continue with the care recommended by your artist.
