Guide & full description

Complete guide: Paper sheet roll 60cmx80m

The paper sheet roll is a basic consumable for any tattoo studio: it unrolls on the work table or chair and creates a clean, disposable barrier between the client and the surface. It has 2 layers, a width of 60 cm and a length of 80 m per roll, so it covers many sessions before running out. It is designed for artists and studios that want a simple and fast hygiene protocol to apply between clients.

How to use

  1. Choose the surface to cover — the work table, chair or stretcher on which the client sits/leans.
  2. Unroll from the roll the necessary amount, slightly more than the length of the surface, to also cover the edges.
  3. Tear or cut the paper to the desired length.
  4. Spread the paper over the entire surface, without creases, so that no areas remain uncovered.
  5. If necessary, secure the edges (adhesive tape or tuck under mattress/cushion) so they don't slip during the session.
  6. At the end of the session, remove and discard the used portion.
  7. Put new paper before each next client, as part of the work station preparation routine.
  8. Store the remaining roll in a dry place, away from moisture, to preserve the integrity of the 2 layers.

Tips from us

  • Cut pieces slightly larger than the surface to cover, so that no corners or edges remain exposed.
  • Keep the roll away from moisture and liquids — wet paper tears and sticks more easily.
  • If you work with a high volume of clients, a wall mount/dispenser for the roll makes unrolling and cutting much faster.
  • Check upon opening that the 2 layers are intact; paper that tears easily during handling was probably stored improperly.
  • Use fresh paper for each new client, not just a patch over the old one.
  • Always have a spare roll at hand, so you don't run out of protective barrier in the middle of a busy day.
Warning: It is a disposable consumable: change the paper for each client, do not reuse it. The paper cover complements but does not replace the actual disinfection of hard surfaces (equipment, outlets, handles) — for those, use disinfectant according to the studio's protocol, not just a paper barrier.

Frequently asked questions

How much material does one roll contain?

One roll is 80 meters long and 60 cm wide, in 2 layers — enough for many sessions, depending on how much you cut for each use.

Can I use the same piece of paper for multiple clients?

It is not recommended. The roll is designed as a disposable barrier, like other consumables in the hygiene protocol (gloves, protective films): clean paper is used for each new client.

Why does it have 2 layers and not just one?

The 2-layer structure offers more tear resistance and better absorption of possible spills, compared to a single-layer paper — useful especially for longer sessions.

What surfaces can it be used on?

It is suitable for work tables, chairs and stretchers in the studio — practically any surface on which the client sits or leans. The 60 cm width covers most standard tables; for wider surfaces, you can overlap two pieces.

How do I know how much paper to cut?

Estimate the length of the surface to cover, add a reserve for the edges, then tear or cut the roll to that length. It is better to cut a little extra than to leave uncovered areas.

How do I store the roll between uses?

In a dry place, away from moisture and direct light, so that the paper does not degrade or the layers stick together.
