Guide & full description

Complete guide: Napkins impregnated with isopropyl alcohol 10pcs

A set of 10 disposable wipes made of two-layer non-woven fabric, soaked with 70% isopropyl alcohol — the concentration considered standard for local skin disinfection. Each wipe is individually packaged and remains sterile as long as the sachet is intact. They are useful for tattoo artists and piercers for skin preparation before the procedure and for wiping work surfaces, as well as for anyone needing a compact disinfectant wipe, for example as a post-injection swab.

How to use

  1. Wash your hands and put on gloves before preparing the work area.
  2. Open the individual sachet just before use — the wipe is sterile only as long as the packaging is intact.
  3. Rub the skin with circular motions, from the work area (or injection site) outward.
  4. Do not go over the cleaned area multiple times with the same portion of the wipe — always use a clean surface of the wipe.
  5. Let the alcohol evaporate completely from the skin before continuing (applying the stencil, starting work, etc.).
  6. Dispose of the wipe immediately after use — it is a single-use product.

Tips from us

  • For larger areas or areas with abundant hair, use two or three wipes instead of insisting with a single one.
  • Check the integrity of the sachet and the expiration date on the packaging before each use — a damaged sachet means evaporated alcohol and compromised sterility.
  • Store the sachets at room temperature, away from direct heat.
  • The individually packaged format is ideal for a mobile kit or convention bag: it takes up no space and does not dry out like an open bottle of alcohol.
  • Do not apply alcohol to skin that has already been worked on or irritated during the tattoo session — for intermediate wipes use green soap or dedicated solutions.
Warning: For external use only, on intact skin. Do not use on open wounds, mucous membranes, or near the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs. After use, dispose of the wipe according to the studio's waste protocol. Isopropyl alcohol is flammable — keep the product away from heat sources and open flame.

Frequently asked questions

Why 70% isopropyl alcohol and not 90% or more concentrated?

The 70% concentration is the recognized standard for skin disinfection precisely because it is not the highest possible. Very concentrated alcohol (90%+) evaporates too quickly from the skin and does not have the necessary contact time to act effectively on microorganisms. The water in the 70% solution slows down evaporation, so the alcohol remains on the skin long enough for proper disinfection. In short: 70% is not 'weaker', but more effective for this purpose.

Can I use the wipes to clean the grip or the tattoo machine?

Yes, for wiping the external surfaces of the equipment and the work area between clients, they are very practical. However, note that wiping with alcohol does not replace the full decontamination protocol: reusable components that come into contact with the client (e.g., metal grips) must be cleaned and sterilized according to the studio's procedure, and the equipment must be protected during work with disposable barriers. Avoid contact of alcohol with exposed electronic components.

Are these wipes sterile? How long do they remain so?

Yes, the wipes are sterile as long as the individual packaging is intact. Once you open the sachet, the wipe must be used immediately — do not keep it open 'for later' and do not reuse it, because it loses both sterility and effectiveness (alcohol evaporates quickly). Also check the expiration date printed on the packaging: after expiration, the alcohol content may decrease and disinfection is no longer guaranteed.

How many wipes do I need for one client? Is the set of 10 enough?

For proper skin preparation, use at least one wipe for the initial cleaning of the area (before shaving and applying the stencil) and another for final disinfection, just before starting work. Large or hairy areas may require more. The set of 10 thus covers a few clients and works well as a backup stock in the studio or as a portable solution for mobile artists and conventions; for high volume work, consider multiple sets.

Can I wipe the fresh tattoo with these wipes after the session?

No. Alcohol is intended for disinfection of intact skin before the procedure. Applied to a fresh tattoo — which is essentially a superficial wound — it dries and irritates the skin and can affect healing. For aftercare, follow the artist's instructions and use recommended aftercare products, not alcohol.

What advantage do they have over a bottle of isopropyl alcohol and paper towels?

Individual packaging: each wipe is sterile and pre-impregnated with the correct dose, without risk of contaminating the bottle or approximate dosing. They are also much more practical on the go — they don't spill, don't evaporate, and fit in any kit. The bottle remains the more economical choice for high consumption in the studio, and the wipes are the ideal portable complement: at conventions, for mobile work, or as an emergency backup.

Product description

70% isopropyl alcohol wipes, made from nonwoven material, individually packed for maximum hygiene. Sterile as long as the package remains intact. Pack: 10 pcs Material: nonwoven, 2 layers Impregnated with 70% isopropyl alcohol Sterile until opened Individually wrapped Use: local skin disinfection (post-injection swab) Instructions for use: rub the skin in a circular motion from the injection site outwards. For external use only. Stop using if irritation or rash occurs. Single-use product. Isopropyl alcohol 70% impregnated wipes (10-piece pack) are the essential consumable for rapid skin disinfection in tattoo, piercing, and micropigmentation procedures. The 70% isopropyl alcohol concentration is the medically recognized standard for optimal bactericidal action — concentrated enough to destroy bacteria, viruses, and fungi, yet with sufficient water content to allow the contact time necessary for effective disinfection (concentrations above 90% evaporate too quickly to be effective). Each wipe is individually packaged in a sealed aluminum foil sachet, maintaining moisture and sterility until the moment of use. The generous size of each wipe allows coverage of a minimum 15x20 cm skin surface in a single pass. The non-woven material is strong enough not to tear during use, yet soft enough not to irritate sensitive skin. Standard studio use: cleaning the skin before stencil application, disinfecting the tattoo area before session start, cleaning equipment between clients, and disinfecting work surfaces. The 10-piece pack is ideal for mobile artists, tattoo conventions, or as minimum emergency stock in the studio. Compliant with European medical device standards, these wipes are single-use and must be disposed of as medical waste after use. Contains no fragrances, dyes, or other additives. The portable alternative to bottled isopropyl alcohol solution. Frequently Asked Questions
