The white disposable apron, set of 10 pieces, is a personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for the tattoo artist: worn over work clothes, it stops ink splashes, blood, or other biological fluids from reaching the clothing during the session. It is made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) with a thickness of 10µm, waterproof, with dimensions of 71x120 cm, large enough to cover from chest to knees. Being a disposable product, it is discarded after each client — it is not washed or reused. The set of 10 pieces is intended as working stock, not as a permanent wardrobe item.
How to use
- Wash or disinfect your hands before preparing the work station and putting on the apron.
- Carefully remove a single apron from the pack of 10, without touching the area that contacts the skin if you already have gloves on.
- Unfold the apron and put it on over your work clothes, not directly on the skin — the PE material is not intended as a base layer.
- Tie the neck strap, then the back/waist strap, so that the apron stays in place and does not slip during work.
- Visually check that the apron fully covers the area from chest to knees, with no open gaps on the sides.
- Proceed with the rest of the personal protective equipment (examination gloves, face mask) before starting the session.
- If during work the apron becomes visibly contaminated with blood or ink, change it immediately, even if the session is not finished.
- At the end, remove the apron by holding only the unexposed part, discard it according to the clinic's waste protocol, then wash or disinfect your hands again.
