Guide & full description

Complete guide: Single use white sort 10 pieces

The white disposable apron, set of 10 pieces, is a personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for the tattoo artist: worn over work clothes, it stops ink splashes, blood, or other biological fluids from reaching the clothing during the session. It is made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) with a thickness of 10µm, waterproof, with dimensions of 71x120 cm, large enough to cover from chest to knees. Being a disposable product, it is discarded after each client — it is not washed or reused. The set of 10 pieces is intended as working stock, not as a permanent wardrobe item.

How to use

  1. Wash or disinfect your hands before preparing the work station and putting on the apron.
  2. Carefully remove a single apron from the pack of 10, without touching the area that contacts the skin if you already have gloves on.
  3. Unfold the apron and put it on over your work clothes, not directly on the skin — the PE material is not intended as a base layer.
  4. Tie the neck strap, then the back/waist strap, so that the apron stays in place and does not slip during work.
  5. Visually check that the apron fully covers the area from chest to knees, with no open gaps on the sides.
  6. Proceed with the rest of the personal protective equipment (examination gloves, face mask) before starting the session.
  7. If during work the apron becomes visibly contaminated with blood or ink, change it immediately, even if the session is not finished.
  8. At the end, remove the apron by holding only the unexposed part, discard it according to the clinic's waste protocol, then wash or disinfect your hands again.

Tips from us

  • Keep the pack of aprons in a clean, dry place, away from dust, near the rest of the PPE, so they are within reach between clients.
  • Change the apron for each client, not only when it looks visibly dirty — it is designed as a disposable product, not reusable.
  • Always keep 1-2 spare pieces in the booth, in case the apron becomes contaminated during a long session.
  • Combine the apron with examination gloves and a face mask for complete protection of the body, hands, and face.
  • If you work with a tattoo machine that generates heavier splashing, consider also using safety goggles in addition to the apron.
  • A set of 10 pieces generally covers about 1-2 weeks of activity for an individual artist — plan your stock according to the number of sessions.
Warning: The apron is a disposable product: do not wash, do not disinfect for reuse, and must not be worn for more than one session/client. After each use, especially if it has come into visible contact with blood or other biological fluids, discard it immediately according to the clinic's waste management rules. Handle it so that you do not touch the potentially contaminated part with your hands (especially if you are already wearing clean gloves) when removing it. Sanitary regulations in Romania require the use of disposable or decontaminable personal protective equipment in tattoo studios — the apron is a component of this equipment, not a complete solution by itself.

Frequently asked questions

What is the apron made of and what protection does it actually provide?

It is made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) with a thickness of 10µm, a waterproof and water-resistant material. It essentially forms a barrier between your work clothes and the splashes of ink, blood, or other fluids that inevitably occur during a tattoo session. It is not a rigid or thick material, but a thin and lightweight one, designed strictly for disposable protection, not for long-term durability.

How long does a set of 10 pieces last?

It depends on the workload, but roughly, a set of 10 aprons covers about 1-2 weeks of activity for an individual artist who changes the apron for each client. If you work with multiple clients per day or have sessions where the apron becomes visibly contaminated during work (in which case it must be changed immediately, not just at the end), consumption may be faster.

Can the apron be washed or reused?

No. It is a strictly disposable product — it is discarded after each client or as soon as it becomes visibly contaminated with blood or other biological fluids, even if the session is not finished. Washing or reusing it is not recommended and does not comply with the hygiene protocols used in tattoo studios, precisely because it eliminates the main advantage of disposable PPE: eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.

What other protective equipment should the apron be combined with?

The apron protects the torso, but it is not sufficient on its own. For complete protection, combine it with examination gloves (changed frequently, during and between sessions) and a face mask. If you work with equipment that generates heavier splashing, you can also add safety goggles. The exact choice of combination depends on your working style and the clinic's protocol.

Why white apron and not colored?

The white color has a practical hygiene advantage: any contamination with blood or other fluids is immediately visible on a white background, which helps you quickly know when to change the apron. In terms of material and protection, the white apron is identical to the colored variants from the same range — the difference is solely in the visibility of contamination, not in the quality of the protective barrier.

Is the apron suitable for sensitive skin or allergies?

According to the product description, the material is hypoallergenic and does not contain latex, designed for prolonged contact without irritation. However, the apron is worn over work clothes, not directly on the skin, so direct skin contact is limited anyway. If you have very sensitive skin or known allergies to plastics, it is recommended to test on a small area first before prolonged use.

Product description

Sort Characteristics: Waterproof; Protects against dirt; Used to protect work equipment and prevent contamination. Disposable sort, HDPE, thickness 10µm, 71x120cm White color The price is for a set of 10 pieces White disposable apron, set of 10 pieces, essential personal protective equipment for tattoo artists. The disposable apron protects the artist's clothing and skin from ink splashes, blood, and other biological fluids inevitable during tattoo sessions. Manufactured from waterproof PE (polyethylene) plastic material, lightweight and comfortable, which does not restrict arm and body movements during work. The neck-tie and back-tie design ensures secure body attachment regardless of the artist's physical build. The white color provides immediate visibility of any contamination, facilitating identification of when the apron needs replacement — an important hygiene advantage over colored or black aprons that can mask blood stains. Full length protects from chest to knee, covering the critical exposure zone during tattooing. As a single-use product, the apron is discarded after each session (or more frequently if visibly contaminated), completely eliminating cross-contamination risk through insufficiently decontaminated reused clothing. Romanian DSP regulations mandate the use of disposable or decontaminable personal protective equipment in tattoo studios. The set of 10 covers 1-2 weeks of activity for an individual artist. The apron is worn over work clothes and complemented with examination gloves, face mask, and optionally protective sleeves for complete protection. Hypoallergenic product, latex-free, suitable for extended wear. The optimized PE material thickness provides the perfect balance between complete waterproofing and minimal weight. The apron emits no odors and does not cause skin irritation during extended contact with skin. Each apron is individually inspected for quality consistency. Frequently Asked Questions
