Guide & full description

Complete guide: Spirit Stencil 60ml

It is a transfer solution in a compact 60 ml format, used to fix the stencil (the outline of the design) onto the skin before tattooing. It is applied to the prepared area, helps the transfer paper leave a clear and precise line, then holds the outline throughout the session. The formula uses mild organic solvents, without harsh chemicals, is phthalate-free, paraben-free, and gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and declared safe for all skin types. The pocket-sized format (under 100 g) makes it suitable for artists working guest spots and conventions, for piercers with low consumption, or as a backup in the studio.

How to use

Prepare the skin: shave the area if needed, clean and degrease it, then dry it thoroughly.
Shake the bottle for 10-15 seconds before each use to ensure the formula is homogeneous.
Put a small amount of solution on a gloved hand and spread it evenly over the prepared area until the skin is damp, not wet.
Place the transfer sheet (stencil) on the skin and hold it pressed for 3-5 seconds without moving it.
Gently lift the sheet and check the transfer; let the outline set for 5-10 minutes before starting.
Confirm that the lines are clear and complete before the first pass with the machine; if necessary, clean and reapply.

Tips from us

Use a small amount: the goal is damp skin, not wet — excess can cause the outline to run or come out blurry.
For best results, use the solution with Spirit transfer paper, as the product is specially designed for Spirit sheets.
The 60 ml format provides 40-80 applications — practical for guest spots, conventions, piercers with low consumption, or as a compact backup in your work bag.
Let the transfer fully set for 5-10 minutes; rushing this step makes the outline last less during the session.
Store the bottle at room temperature; it has a shelf life of 2-3 years, and the small format is usually used up before expiration.

Warning: Apply the solution only to clean, healthy skin; avoid irritated areas, open wounds, or active irritations. Although the formula is declared free of harsh chemicals and suitable for all skin types, for clients with sensitive skin a patch test is a reasonable precaution. Always work with gloves, dispense the solution in portions for each client (do not dip your hand directly into the bottle), and keep the container closed between uses to avoid contamination and maintain studio hygiene.

Frequently asked questions

How many applications do I get from a 60 ml bottle?▾

Around 40-80 applications, depending on how generously you apply. For a full-time artist it lasts about 2-4 weeks, for part-time 1-2 months; it's also enough for a multi-day convention.

Is the 60 ml formula the same as in the larger sizes?▾

Yes, it is identical. The 60 ml format contains the same formula as the 120 ml and 240 ml versions — only the quantity and portability differ, not the performance. If your consumption increases, you can switch to a larger size without changing your technique.

Does it work with any transfer paper?▾

It is specially designed for Spirit transfer sheets, with which it gives the best results. In general, it is compatible with standard industry transfer papers; for consistent results, use it with Spirit sheets.

How long should I let the transfer set before tattooing?▾

After lifting the sheet, let the outline stabilize for 5-10 minutes. This way the lines adhere well and last better throughout the session.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?▾

The formula uses mild organic solvents, without harsh chemicals, and is phthalate-free, paraben-free, and gluten-free, plus vegan-friendly, and is declared safe for all skin types. Apply only to clean, intact skin; for very sensitive clients, a patch test remains a good precaution.

What is its shelf life and how do I store it?▾

It has a shelf life of about 2-3 years when stored at room temperature. Shake the bottle before each use and keep it closed between applications.
