Guide & full description

Complete guide: Belly Pierce 100003-1

This is a curved barbell (banana) navel piercing jewelry with two ends of different sizes, designed for wearing in the navel area. It is part of model 100003 (variant 1) from the tatuat.ro range and is suitable both for people getting their first navel piercing — fitted by a professional piercer — and for those who want to change their jewelry after complete healing.

How to use

Check the dimensions before fitting: the jewelry corresponds to a needle size of 12G, has a bar of 11.53 mm, and two threaded balls — one small 5 mm ball and one large 8 mm ball. Make sure it matches your piercing or what the piercer determined.
For a new piercing, go to a professional piercer: they will measure your navel skin fold with a caliper and confirm whether the jewelry length and gauge are suitable.
Sterilize the jewelry before insertion. For initial fitting, the piercer does this (autoclave); for home changes after healing, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol and wash your hands thoroughly.
Unscrew the small ball, insert the curved bar through the channel with the appropriate end, then screw the ball back on. Typically the large ball sits at the bottom and the small one at the top (or according to the jewelry design).
Make sure both threaded ends are tightened well so the balls do not come loose during wear.
During healing, clean the area daily with sterile saline solution and do not rotate the jewelry; let crusts fall off naturally.
Only change the jewelry after the navel piercing has fully healed (typically 6-12 months), with clean hands and disinfected jewelry.

Tips from us

Choose the length based on the thickness of your skin fold: too short presses and can cause embedding, too long snags and delays healing. The piercer measures correctly with a caliper.
Periodically check that the threaded balls are tight and tighten them if needed only with clean hands — the ends can loosen over time.
During the healing period, wear loose and clean clothing to avoid snagging the jewelry; avoid sleeping on your stomach.
If the jewelry has decorative elements or stones, gently move them from time to time with a clean finger; if they wobble, see your piercer before you lose them.
Keep the spare jewelry in a clean, dry place, separate from other objects.

Warning: New piercings should only be fitted by a professional piercer in sterile conditions — do not pierce yourself at home. Sterilize the jewelry before insertion and do not change jewelry on an unhealed piercing. Do not force, rotate the jewelry, or manually remove crusts. The exact material is not specified in the product data; if you have sensitive skin or allergies (e.g., to nickel), check the material on the product page or with your piercer before prolonged wear. If persistent redness, pain, discharge, or swelling occurs, consult your piercer or a doctor — this is a safety recommendation, not medical advice.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of this jewelry?▾

According to the product data: needle size 12G, bar length 11.53 mm, one small 5 mm ball and one large 8 mm ball. These values help you check if the jewelry fits your piercing.

What type of jewelry is this?▾

It is a curved barbell (banana), the classic navel jewelry type, with two balls of different sizes. Typically the larger ball (8 mm) is worn at the bottom and the small one (5 mm) at the top, but the position can vary depending on design and preference.

What does variant 1 (100003-1) mean?▾

It is one of the design variants of model 100003. The variants share the same basic curved barbell navel construction but differ in decorative elements. Compare the images of the variants on tatuat.ro and choose the one you like.

How do I know if it fits me?▾

It depends on your piercing gauge and the appropriate length for your skin fold. If your current piercing is also 12G, the gauge fits; for length, it is safest to have your piercer measure with a caliper. If in doubt, ask before ordering.

How do I clean and maintain the jewelry?▾

During healing, clean the area with sterile saline solution and do not rotate the jewelry. When changing after healing, disinfect the jewelry with isopropyl alcohol and handle it only with clean hands. Periodically check the threaded balls are tight so they do not come loose.

What material is the jewelry made of?▾

The exact material is not mentioned in this product data. Piercing jewelry is usually made of biocompatible metals that can be sterilized. If you have known allergies or sensitive skin, check the material on the product page or ask your piercer before prolonged wear.

Product description

The 100003-1 model brings its own design element to the navel jewelry collection, differentiating from other models through the specific aesthetic of decorative ends.
