It is intended for people who already have a fully healed tongue piercing and want to replace or change the jewelry — it is not intended for a fresh piercing.

How to use

First check the gauge of your current piercing. This model is 14G (1,6mm); if your hole was made at a different gauge, the bar will not fit correctly.
Wash your hands thoroughly and clean/disinfect the bar and balls before assembly (sterile saline solution or medical-grade disinfectant).
Unscrew one of the threaded balls from the end of the bar.
Insert the bar through the fully healed piercing channel without forcing.
Reattach the threaded ball and tighten it well, but without over-tightening.
Check that there is no play: the balls must be firm, so they don't come loose while speaking or eating.
Periodically recheck the tightness, especially with an oral jewelry, where tongue movement can loosen the thread.
