Guide & full description

Complete guide: Lip Pierce 100044

This is a set of labret jewelry (studs) for lip piercings, featuring a straight bar, a flat disc for internal fixation, and a top ball with a cubic zirconia crystal. The blue finish is achieved through anodizing 316L surgical steel — an electrochemical process that colors the metal's oxide layer without adding foreign material, so the shade does not peel. Crystals come in multiple colors: green, red, clear, pink, and blue. It is intended for those who already have a fully healed lip piercing and want to change or customize their jewelry.

How to use

Wash your hands thoroughly and clean/disinfect the jewelry before handling.
Ensure the piercing is fully healed and that your gauge matches 16G (1.2mm).
Unscrew the top ball with the crystal from the bar.
Position the flat disc on the inside of the lip (on the mucosa), where the smooth surface provides comfort.
Gently insert the straight bar through the piercing channel from the inside to the outside.
Screw the crystal ball back on and tighten firmly, but without forcing the thread.
Check by gentle touch that the ball is securely fastened to prevent accidental detachment.

Tips from us

Change jewelry only on a fully healed piercing; for a fresh one, use the jewelry installed by the professional piercer.
Periodically check the tightness of the threaded ball — threaded parts can loosen over time.
Balls can be replaced with others of the same gauge and thread, so you can vary the crystal color.
Rinse with fresh water after swimming in a pool or the sea to remove chlorine and salt from the jewelry.
When removing it, store it in a clean, dry place and do not leave the channel empty for too long, as it may contract.

Warning: Do not use this set as initial jewelry on a fresh piercing — the initial jewelry is installed by a professional piercer on a healing piercing. Maintain rigorous hygiene: wash your hands before handling and clean regularly with saline solution or sterile saline. 316L surgical steel has a low allergy risk, but if you have a confirmed nickel allergy, choose implant-grade titanium or niobium. Metal components can be sterilized, but any acrylic parts should not be autoclaved.

Frequently asked questions

What material is it made of?▾

Made from 316L surgical stainless steel, anodized for the blue color. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that colors the metal's oxide layer without adding foreign material, so the color does not peel or flake. The top ball features a cubic zirconia crystal.

What gauge is the bar?▾

16G, which is 1.2 mm — a standard thickness for professionally done lip piercings. Before ordering, check the gauge of your current piercing to ensure compatibility.

What are the dimensions of the jewelry?▾

According to product specifications: the bar is 10 mm, the ball has a diameter of 3.10 mm, and the flat disc has a diameter of 3.9 mm. The gauge is 16G / 1.2 mm.

Can I put it on a fresh piercing?▾

It is not recommended. The initial jewelry on a fresh piercing is installed by a professional piercer. This set is intended for fully healed piercings.

How do I clean and maintain it?▾

Clean regularly with saline solution or sterile saline, or with warm water and a mild antibacterial soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a clean material. Check the threaded ball's tightness from time to time.

What types of piercings can I use it for?▾

Being a labret with a straight bar and flat disc, it is suitable for labret, Monroe, Medusa, and Madonna piercings, as well as certain ear piercings like tragus or helix, as long as the gauge (16G) matches. Choose based on the appropriate thickness and length for your placement.

Product description

Lip Pierce Ball diameter: 3.10mm Rod size: 10mm Sole diameter: 3.9mm The Pierce Buza 100044 is a set of labret studs with blue anodized finish and decorative balls encrusted with colored crystals, made from 316L surgical stainless steel subjected to an anodization process that creates a colored oxide layer on the metal surface. The intense blue finish is achieved through anodization — an electrochemical process that adds no foreign material to the surface but modifies the steel's natural oxide layer, resulting in a vibrant, biocompatible, and resistant color. Each labret features a straight bar with standard 16G gauge (1.2mm), interior flat fixing disc, and a blue upper spherical ball incorporating a central cubic zirconia crystal in varied colors — green, red, clear, pink, blue. The contrast between blue metal and colored crystal creates a particularly attractive and unique visual effect. The interior flat disc ensures comfort on oral mucosa, with smooth surface and ergonomic edges. Bar length of 6-8mm is optimized for standard lip piercings. Anodization is a superior alternative to plating as it does not peel or flake — the color is an integral part of the metal surface. Compatible with labret, Monroe, Medusa, Madonna piercings, as well as ear piercings (tragus, helix) of compatible gauge. The base 316L surgical steel ensures long-term safety and durability.
