Guide & full description

Complete guide: Universal Pierce 100042

This is a piercing jewelry piece from the universal range tatuat.ro, made of stainless steel, with a needle size (gauge) of 14 G. It is aimed at both beginners and those experienced with piercings, who are looking for a simple piece for an existing or fresh piercing. The main dimensions — circumference 9 mm and balls 3 mm — are also listed on the product page, so you can check that they match your piercing before ordering.

How to use

First check that the size (gauge) of 14 G and the dimensions — circumference 9 mm, balls 3 mm — match your piercing.
For a fresh piercing, let the professional piercer sterilize the jewelry in an autoclave before insertion.
For a fully healed piercing, disinfect the piece with isopropyl alcohol before putting it in.
Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the jewelry or the piercing area.
Insert the jewelry carefully; if it's a new piercing or you have doubts, ask the piercer for help.
Tighten the balls/decorative ends well, so they don't come off.
Periodically check the tightness of the components and the condition of the piece.

Tips from us

Note down your piercing's gauge (here it is 14 G) — if it doesn't match, the jewelry either won't go in or will be too loose.
Do not change the jewelry yourself from an unhealed piercing; leave that to the piercer until complete healing.
Clean the area regularly with sterile saline solution, not with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide directly on a fresh wound.
Periodically check that the 3 mm balls are tightly secured — threaded ends can loosen over time.
Keep on hand a spare ball/end of the same gauge, in case you lose one.

Warning: Hygiene is essential for any piercing. Never insert an unsterilized jewelry piece into a fresh piercing — autoclave sterilization is done by the piercer. If signs of infection appear (spreading redness, intense pain, swelling, yellow-green discharge, fever), go to a doctor; do not remove the jewelry yourself, because it keeps the channel open for drainage. Avoid alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, betadine, and antibiotic ointments without medical advice on a fresh piercing.

Frequently asked questions

What size is the jewelry?▾

The needle size (gauge) is 14 G, circumference 9 mm, and the balls are 3 mm. Check these dimensions on the product page and compare them with your piercing before ordering.

What material is it made of?▾

Made of stainless steel. For piercing jewelry, surgical steel (type 316L) is the usual quality standard in the category; if you need the exact material certification, ask the supplier or piercer.

Can I put it in myself?▾

On a fully healed piercing, yes — after washing your hands and disinfecting the piece with isopropyl alcohol. For a fresh piercing, go to a professional piercer, who sterilizes the jewelry in an autoclave before insertion.

How do I maintain it to make it last?▾

Clean the area regularly with sterile saline solution and periodically check that the balls are tightly secured. If deposits appear, clean the jewelry with water and mild soap, and for an already healed piercing you can use isopropyl alcohol.

How do I know if it fits my piercing?▾

Compare the gauge (14 G) and dimensions (circumference 9 mm, balls 3 mm) with your current piercing. If the gauge differs, the piece will not fit correctly. If in doubt, ask the piercer who did your piercing.

Are the balls included?▾

Piercing jewelry is usually delivered complete, with decorative ends included — check exactly what it contains on the product page. If you lose a ball later, you can order a replacement, as long as the gauge (14 G) matches.

Product description

Pierce Universal Needle size: 14 GCircumference: 9mm Ball diameter: 3mm Material: stainless steel The Pierce Universal 100042 is a piercing jewelry from the tatuat.ro universal collection, a model that complements the range with its own design and distinctive aesthetic. Designed for versatility, the jewelry can be worn on various body locations depending on the piece's geometry and gauge — ear, nose, lip, eyebrow, navel, or other compatible areas. The biocompatible material — 316L surgical stainless steel or implant-grade titanium — ensures safety for prolonged skin contact, corrosion resistance, and autoclave sterilization compatibility. The premium surface finish minimizes tissue irritation and facilitates cleaning — essential aspects especially in the first months post-piercing. The 100042 model brings a distinctive aesthetic element to the universal jewelry portfolio, offering an alternative for those seeking a different design from classic options. Gauge, length, and geometric type are specified on the product page to facilitate informed selection. The jewelry must be autoclaved by the professional piercer before insertion into a fresh piercing. For healed piercings, isopropyl alcohol disinfection is sufficient. Regular maintenance — cleaning with saline solution, checking component tightness — ensures long-term durability and impeccable appearance. Frequently Asked Questions
