How to use

1. Insert the handle tube into the machine vice and tighten the vice normally, as usual.

3. Screw the screw perpendicular to the tube axis until it contacts the tube.
4. Tighten firmly, by hand or with a small hex key, until the tube no longer moves axially (back and forth) or rotates.
5. Then check that the needle moves freely and that the screw does not interfere with the machine mechanism.
6. Recheck the tightness at each setup and every time you change the handle tube, as vibrations can loosen it over time.

• Do not overtighten: the goal is to lock movement, not to deform the tube. On glass tubes, be especially careful, as excessive tightening can crack them.
