Guide & full description

Complete guide: Top A4 transfer sheets for printer / manual use

These transfer sheets are used to prepare tattoo stencils, either by manual drawing or by printing with a thermal printer. They are designed to provide a clear, uniform image on the skin, as a guide for the artist's work.

How to use

  1. Choose the working method: manual (direct drawing) or printing with a thermal printer.
  2. For the manual version, draw the design on the top white layer, pressing firmly enough for the carbon layer to transfer the line onto the sheet.
  3. For the printed version, feed the sheet into the thermal printer according to the manufacturer's instructions for that device.
  4. Remove the removable milky-white layer before use, according to the structure described by the manufacturer.
  5. Also remove the bottom yellow layer when using the thermal printer, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Prepare the client's skin according to standard studio hygiene procedures, before applying the stencil.
  7. Apply the stencil to the skin and press gently to transfer the design, then check the clarity of the lines before starting to tattoo.

Tips from us

  • Store the box of sheets in a dry place, away from moisture and direct light, to preserve the quality of the layers.
  • Handle the sheets with clean hands or gloves, to avoid accidentally transferring substances onto the top layer.
  • Before the session, check that the thermal printer used is compatible and working correctly, for a clear transfer of the image.
  • Test a few sheets from the box at the start of using a new batch, to ensure consistent transfer quality.
Warning: The sheets are intended exclusively for preparing tattoo stencils and must be used in accordance with good studio hygiene practices. Do not apply directly onto irritated or damaged skin and follow standard cleaning and disinfection procedures for the area before application.

Are they compatible with any thermal printer?

How do I know the transfer was done correctly?

Visually check the clarity and consistency of the lines on the top layer before applying it to the skin.

Product description

Elite transfer sheets in A4 format are designed for creating tattoo stencils, either by printing with a thermal printer or by the manual method. They are supplied in a box of 100 sheets, enough for a high volume of work in a studio.

Each sheet measures 215.9 mm × 279.4 mm (8.5 × 11") and is made up of four layers with distinct roles: the top white layer, onto which the image is actually transferred; the second layer, removable and milky-white, which prevents accidental transfer before use and is usually removed prior to use; the third layer, of carbon, which through pressure transfers the purple coating onto the top sheet; and the bottom layer, yellow in colour, which is generally removed when the sheet is used in a thermal printer.

They are useful for artists working with both hand-drawn stencils and printed designs, providing a uniform, high-quality image on the top sheet, ready for application to the skin.

According to the manufacturer, these sheets are compatible with all thermal printers, making them a practical choice for studios working with varying volumes of designs, from simple sketches to complex artwork.

They fit naturally into the artist's workflow: either prepare the stencil manually, by drawing directly on the top layer with the help of the carbon layer, or print the digital design with the thermal printer, after which the resulting stencil is used for transfer onto the skin.
