Tattoo machine Hummingbird Pen Wireless V12 Adjustable grey

Complete guide: Tattoo machine Hummingbird Pen Wireless V12 Adjustable grey

The Hummingbird Pen Wireless V12 Ajustabil is a wireless pen-style rotary tattoo machine — the motor, battery, and control electronics are integrated directly into the machine body, with no cables or separate external power supply. It is designed for artists who want freedom of movement at the station and a compact, easy-to-transport device between sessions or conventions. It comes in the Ajustabil variant, gray color, with a Swiss-made DC motor.

How to use

1. Charge the battery fully before first use via the USB-C port — the manufacturer indicates 2-3 hours for a full fast charge.
2. Insert the desired needle cartridge into the front end of the machine, following the insertion direction, and check that it is properly secured before starting.
3. Attach a protective barrier (sleeve) over the machine body to prevent direct contact with skin and blood during work.
4. Turn on the machine and adjust the working voltage using the control button/knob. The manufacturer recommends a range of 5.5V-7.5V for balanced results, adjustable based on needle, style, and technique.
5. Test the speed and depth on a practice surface (artificial skin) before starting actual work.
6. Work at the minimum voltage needed for the desired result — the machine allows fine control in 0.1V steps, within the 5.0V-11.0V range.
7. At the end, turn off the machine, dispose of the used cartridge in a sharps container, and clean the machine body according to your studio's hygiene protocol.
8. Recharge the machine after each session via USB-C to be ready for next use — the 2100 mAh battery provides, according to manufacturer tests, a runtime of 6.0-10.0 hours of work.

Tips from us

• Do not unnecessarily exceed the recommended voltage range (5.5V-7.5V) — work at the minimum value that gives you the desired result, both for client comfort and battery life.
• During long sessions, keep an eye on the battery level — being wireless, you don't have a backup cable if the battery suddenly drains.
• Always check the correct cartridge attachment before starting, for consistent motion transfer and uniform results.
• Clean and disinfect the machine body after each client, keeping in mind that the electronics and battery are integrated into the housing.
• If you do not use the machine for an extended period, store it with the battery partially charged to protect its lifespan.
• Keep the original packaging if you frequently transport the machine between studio and conventions — it provides extra protection on the road.
