The spring stop screw (part no. 77) is a precision adjustment component for InkMachines rotary machines. How to use
- With the machine turned off and disconnected, locate the spring stop screw on the machine body.
- Prepare the appropriate size Allen key (from the InkMachines kit, part no. 51).
- For more return force (lining, more aggressive stroke), screw clockwise — you compress the internal spring more and increase the preload.
- For a gentler return (shading), unscrew counterclockwise — you reduce the spring preload.
- Make small adjustments, quarter turns at a time, and test each time on artificial skin before proceeding further.
- After a few minutes of operation, check if the setting has held. If it changes by itself under vibrations, the thread may be worn and the part must be replaced.
