The releaser pin (part no. 64 InkMachines) is the pivot pin on which the quick-release lever of InkMachines rotary machines rotates. How to use

  1. Turn off the machine, disassemble it to access the release mechanism, and clean the area of ink residue and old lubricant.
  2. Check the correct positioning of the release lever (part no. 62) and the releaser spring (part no. 63) on the bracket on the machine body.
  3. Align the pivot hole in the release lever with the holes in the bracket.
  4. Insert the releaser pin through the alignment, sliding it gently with your fingers or a small pushing tool.
  5. The pin should go in smoothly, without excessive force — if it meets resistance, recheck the alignment instead of forcing it.
  6. Make sure the pin is fully inserted and does not come out of its seat.
  7. Apply a drop of InkMachines oil (part no. 56) onto the pin and actuate the lever a few times to distribute the lubricant over the contact surfaces.
  8. Test the operation of the release lever before using the machine for work.
